Woman’s Club of Fernandina Beach Landscape and Maintenance

In exchange for access to the clubhouse for meetings, the garden club maintains and improves the landscaping on the south and west sides of the building. We coordinate our work days with the Woman’s Club landscape committee, lending horticultural advice and assistance to them where needed, in addition to maintaining our own assigned area. Our duties include weeding, mulching, pruning, adding new plantings as requested by the Woman’s Club, and keeping the patio area tidy. Work days are scheduled monthly year-round.

The GFWC Woman’s Club of Fernandina Beach is a non-profit organization focused on supporting myriad local and regional charities with tangible and intangible contributions. The Bartram Garden Club’s landscaping expertise enhances the overall landscape design, making the facility physically attractive to the community and attractive to prospective renters. Income from rentals helps support the many charitable services which the Woman’s Club provides to local groups in need.
